Laurea chose Webwarden for website quality and accessibility monitoring
Laurea University of Applied Sciences has introduced Webwarden for its new Laurea.fi website. After launching the renewed website, continuous monitoring of quality and accessibility plays an important role in maintaining and improving the online service.
Webwarden is intended to become part of Laurea’s regular communications and web work routines through systematic monitoring. The goal is to review the website’s status, for example, on a weekly basis, so that any issues can be addressed quickly and consistently.
Already in the early stages of use, Webwarden has helped Laurea identify and fix issues affecting the quality of the website. The tool has been used to find, for example, spelling mistakes and broken links. Fixing these improves both the user experience and the overall quality of the website.
Before Webwarden, Laurea used SiteImprove. The introduction of Webwarden supports Laurea’s goal of monitoring website quality, accessibility and potential issues in a centralized and easy-to-use way.
Since the new Laurea.fi website was launched only recently, there has not yet been enough time to collect measurable long-term benefits. However, Webwarden already serves as an important tool for quality management and continuous improvement from the very beginning of the website’s lifecycle.
With Webwarden, we gain confidence in the quality and accessibility status of our website, enabling us to quickly respond to any potential issues.
